The Computer Society of India (CSI) is the largest and oldest professional body of computer professionals in India, dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of Computer Engineering and Technology Systems, Science and Engineering, Information Processing and related Arts and Sciences.

At SLRTCE, we are proud to have inaugurated the CSI Student chapter on 10th February 2011, offering a platform for IT professionals to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning, and career enhancement. Our student members have access to a wide spectrum of activities, including seminars, workshops, and conferences, designed to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of IT.

By fostering a sense of partnership among its members, the CSI encourages and assists professionals to maintain the integrity and competence of the profession. The chapter also inspires and nurtures new entrants into the industry, helping them integrate into the IT community and pursue a successful career in the field.

In addition to the activities held at the Chapters and Student Branches, the CSI conducts periodic conferences and seminars to provide networking opportunities for IT professionals to connect with their peers and learn from experts in the field.

As a member of the CSI Student chapter, SLRTCE students have a unique opportunity to network with professionals in the industry, build valuable relationships, and gain insights into the latest trends and developments in the field of IT.

In conclusion, the CSI Student chapter at SLRTCE is an essential platform for IT students to enhance their knowledge and skills, network with professionals in the industry, and pursue a successful career in the field. The CSI’s mission of facilitating research, knowledge sharing, learning, and career enhancement is well-supported by the chapter, ensuring that students are well-prepared to enter the IT industry.

Objective of event: The CSI Event was organised in honour of Engineer’s Day 2019. Inauguration of this event was done by our Principal and Head of Departments were present to grace the occasion. To work effectively as member and leader in teams, preferably in a multi-disciplinary setting.
